Not too much to report about todays training session, it was an Easy 4miles and the easy runs are now becoming, well, quite easy, but then they are meant too be
Well my next session is tomorrow and it is a Slow 9miles, this will be the furthest I have ever run in one go, so I’m expecting it to be a hard run, but I’ll tell you more about that in tomorrows report. Bye for now…

Well today’s training session was a total of 5 miles, it started with a warm up (wu) an Easy 1mile, followed by a Steady 3miles, then a cool down (cd) an Easy 1mile. Due to the weather it was a difficult run, and I have to be honest and say due to the wind I was struggling to keep the pace up.

When my alarm went off at 5:30am this morning, it was still dark outside and very windy, the wind was howling down the side of the house, so while staggering down the stairs trying to wake myself up I thought, very windy I had better wear my jacket, so I did. However for the majority of the training session there was no wind – in fact it was only when running up the nearby hill that it was windy and it has to be said it was very windy

I have decided I dont like the training sessions that involve running Fast, maybe it is just because I am out so early in the morning, but today I was all over the place, I just couldnt get my heart rate to hit the required zone, in fact at 1 point my heart rate monitor (hrm) recorded a heart rate of 224bpm
